Grading our cards

Grading our cards

At ProCheck Sports, most of our cards are graded by us following the industry standard. You may request to have any of our cards graded by ®Becketts at your expense by adding this request to your order in the comments area.

Here is a summary of our grading system.

Mint (Mt)

A card that is in perfect condition and it must look like it just came out of the package. It must have no printing defects, no corner wear, and no surface wear. The card must be centered nearly perfect to the naked eye.

Near Mint (NrMt)

A card which has only one minor defect. Slight corner or surface wear allowed. The card may be slightly off-centered or have printer's lines or spots.

Excellent Mint (ExMt)

Excellent (Ex)

A card with only a few minor defects. The card may be slightly more off-centered, have rougher corner or surface wear including slight creasing or it may have more printer's lines and spots.

Very Good (Vg)
