The 1975 Stanley Cup Finals championship series was played by the Buffalo Sabres, making their first Finals appearance and the defending champion Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers would win the best-of-seven series four games to two. The Flyers were the last Stanley Cup champions to be comprised entirely of Canadian-born players.
At that time, Bernie Parent won the Conn Smythe Trophy for the 2nd consecutive year and he was the first player to do so.
