Similar to NHL 5, the series 8 lineup was developed exclusively for mass retail in Canada. The demand for hockey product in Canada is strong enough to support a line released out-of-season, and so McFarlane’s
Canada-direct line was created with specific appeal to the Canuck faithful.
There are now only six figures in the line because Defenseman Al MacInnis in his retro Calgary Flames uniform was pulled from the lineup, as McFarlane was unable to secure permission for the figure before the production deadline. Don’t be surprised to see MacInnis as part of a later release.
